I think they blocked the window. I agree that Barnabas was more merciless than Tim Shaw and Judith Collins, but this is good too though.

You know, what I could never figure out is, why didn't the Rev. just kick the brick wall in? The mortar would have taken a while to set, plenty of time to get out!

By the way, that Tim Shaw can sure put up a brick wall pretty quick!

@Yugi40 Lamar Trask was shot by Barnabas and his body got trapped in the parallel time room where his body was trapped and found in 1841 Parallel Time. Lamar however did previously wall Barnabas up in the funeral home. In the present time the ghost of the Rev. Trask walled Barnabas up where Trask was walled up by Barnabas. Barnabas has been buried alive more than once. Barnabas and Quentin have Carly Manning beat when it comes to being buried alive. Angelique had Elizabeth buried alive.

Was the skeleton David and Amy found in Quentin's room that of Quentin or Gregory Trask? I hear different theories on this. Barnabas and Julia never found out why the room was paneled off in the present but even though Barnabas changed history some by going back there Judith Collins Trask told Tim Shaw in writing to take the bricks down and panel off the room. I don't know if originally Quentin's dead body was sealed in that room after being shot and killed by Beth Chavez to avoid a scandal.

I have a question if the brick wall is newly made and the cement is wet not yet dry why didn't Trask brake it down. something in the room could have been used to brake the brick wall down. plus the panel wall was not yet up.

IT explains the mystery of the Skelaton in Quintin's room that was found by that Amy and David it wasn't Quintin after all but Trask. Oiginally Quintin did die by Beth's hands but not in his room. what never was explained is how Edith knew Barnabas Secret when she was not supposed to know. plus The Collins in the present didn't know any family secret.

Ya know, even if the window was bricked up and they used some kind of magic instant-drying mortar there's always the other walls. An old house like that would have been slat & plaster, not hard at all to break through, especially with something like those big iron candlesticks on the mantle. Oh well, great show. Ya have to just go with it I guess.
