Art painting the Masks

This is Ashley, age 14-autistic, painting her mask during art therapy. She had to draw what she wanted the finished mask to look like, have the mask formed on her face, sand the mask, transpose the drawing onto the mask with pencil, & paint the mask.
Her sister Virginia is working on her mask titled "Lady of the Sun".
These masks will be displayed in the near future in an art exhibit.
Ashley was diagnosed @ 2.5 years old with moderate to severe autism & has made tremendous progress with biomedical & ABA interventions. Check out www.generationrescue.org to find out more!

What a beautif mask you are painting. As much as I love your singing, it is so great to just hear you talk and tell me about things you like, and don't like. I think I just like you.  Thank you sweet heart for sharing things with us.
