Donkey riding training (Savannah)

Savannah has finally gotten big enough and old enough for some serious riding training. she has had lots of ground work and responds to voice cues very well. I have a hackamore on her for a bridle and am riding a Sensation Saddle. The distraction of the dogs playing is welcome, to desensitize her to things going on around her. I am not concerned with much on this ride but to keep her moving forward. Notice from her ground work training, she is responding more to voice cues than to the equipment or me physically

She is a large Standard, actually black in color but bleached out in winter coat. She is 52" now and I have had her since she was 15 months, she is 4 now. She came from Kathy Owen's herd in Sulphur Springs,TX.. Came out of 2 loudly spotted parents. Is the most talented, willing, loving and ambidextrous donk I have ever seen. I am so smitten with her, she is my girl.

Savannah is adorable! What's her background - how old and how long have you had her? If I remember correctly she's a standard or large standard.

Well done ! How old is she and how many times had you ridden her ? My donkey Barnaby is going well but has to have a good reason to move !
