Until they make new music as a group they (as a band) are retired. If or when they make and release that new music then they will 'come out of retirement'. Saying hiatus is just putting a positive spin on retirement.

@owaffs the corrs are not retired they have only been not even 4 years take a look at the group soul asylum they were gone almost 9 years before they released the last album in 08 wich they are currently making another one

@colouth i have been fortunate enough to meet the band and their father, along with their manager John Hughes and I have never met nicer ppl in my whole life, made me an even bigger fan than I already was... nicest ppl in POP is a complete understatement!
