Given the extent to which Queen were told that this "unwieldy" piece would never get airplay because it didn't fit neatly into a niche and expect timeslot, there is a bittersweet parallel with the manner in which Firefly was only able to "phoenix" through the "can't stop the signal"-ness of the Net. Not a thought (this blend) that i would ever have had, but one the lack of which would have made my life discernibly poorer.
