This should be 11-12 because the narrator did not finish his closing argument like he did in most of the other lessons. I enjoyed his arguments useing the greek, found it very helpful.

@anhtuanb You seem to be advocating for limited atonement, which I would completely disagree with and do not believe the scriptures you provided would justify such a position taken in their context. The Bible says God is impartial and wants everyone to be saved. Salvation is conditional and His word reveals what those conditions are.

Your very first statement indicates your understanding of the gospel. It is not the gospel that the Bible teaches. The main reason for evangelizing the gospel is to gather God's elects, and we do not know who. You are teaching universalism that all men can be saved if they can only hear the gospel and believe in Jesus Christ by their free will. 2 Corinthians 4:3 "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost"
Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen"

@anhtuanb I would say we evangelize to help man understand that he/she can have the same hope we have, to be justified and saved in the eyes of God. How can that take place? By hearing the word, right? What does the word say? It tells us many things, among which are what Christ did, what the Apostles did, it contains instruction on living a righteous life, it also contains instruction on how one can be saved. Those that hear from the word, must obey it. That is my contention.
Salvation is a free gift from God, but is it conditional?
If the answer is no, then it is unconditional and we need not have a Bible at all since there is absolutely nothing we can do either way to affect our position in God's eyes.
If the answer is yes, then we must look into God's word to see what the conditions are to be met in order to receive the gift. Is baptism commanded and a condition to be met? Or is it just "important?"

@Concatenate Did those in the Book of Acts have the New Testament ?
Or did they Rely on the Grace of God as Paul did.
We have the New Testament and it teaches us to Rely on God who is in us after becoming Born Again. And Jesus loses none of his sheep, and he will complete the good work he started in us. Can we know we have Eternal Life Now ? YES. Can anything in all creation separate us from the love of God ? NO
