George Strait signing "If it wasn't for Texas" as the roof is opening for the first opening at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, during the George Strait Concert, the Inaugural Event for the new stadium, on 6/6/9. The roof takes 12 minutes to open completely.

  • gosh the static in this video is terrible

  • Well the sound was so load in the stadium and the poor mix on the camera couldn't handle the volume. Our other camera did better and that vid is upload also, but still it was loud. They have worked on the sound system in the stadium since this first concert and it sound much better, look at our other vids here and at our new channel - fortworthsportsfan. Sorry, not much we can do about the volume!! :)

  • well, we get excited about a lot of damn things... like grown men chasing a small back rubber thing on frozen water...? or putting a small round balls into a hole in the ground, so why not a roof! Besides this roof in on the best STADIUM anywhere!
