Willemijn Verkaik (f/ Scott Alan) sings 'NINE YEARS' from the new musical HOME - Live @ Birdland

As many people know, I have been working on a new musical called HOME (formally known to fans as PIECE) for about eight years. I am thrilled to announce that the show will soon be in development with a beautiful and heartwarming book by Christy Hall and produced by StylesFour Production.

NINE YEARS is the first song sung by our main character, Katherine. After returning to her childhood home after nine absent years, she discovers that everything is exactly the same and yet everything is different.

Willemijn Verkaik is one of the greatest vocalists I have ever had the honor of working with. I am so honored to have met her and collaborated with her on my third album 'WHAT I WANNA BE WHEN I GROW UP' on the song 'WATCH ME SOAR' (available on iTunes, CDbaby and http://www.scottalan.net ).
