I speculate and sense that Russia is consolidating her power and coalition of allies to press an attack sweep into Turkey and meet with other allies such as Iran(Persia). and then attack Israel and take over the Middle East. It will truly be Gog Magog of Ezekiel 38,39.

When this war..World War II ..does happen, God will judge the nations attacking Israel.

And wipe out 7/8ths of their armies in judgements naturally and supernaturally. The remaining 1/8 will be spared.

Great Russian bear will smash big, bad Georgia. Great Russian bear likes to fight smaller neighbors: Poland, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia...It's interesting that Russia, as the Soviet Union, created Georgia with its current borders. It's also interesting that Chechnya's separatist war was unacceptable to Russia while South Ossetia's separatist war is totally acceptable to Russia.

You make a good point. Georgia did attack first, but Russia really doesn't need to use so much force. The Military capabilities of Russia surpass that of Georgia, and since Georiga is so small Russia barely even needs to move a finger.
