-
beautiful performance of a beautiful piece of art

渡辺さんに比べたら他の日本のギタリストはおもちゃみたいな音。
-
very nice!

@NintendoDevil No, I don't believe it is unmeasured.
-
You're right the first part is unmeasured. The second part, however, is measured in 2/2 .
I have to say that I enjoy listening to and also playing all the different transcriptions and interpretations. There is no correct or incorrect form of this piece because the transcriptions have huge differences.
Btw I like this version very much! :)

@frablu3s I'm no expert, but Isn't this piece unmeasured? I always liked it better when played slowly, and where each "measure" slows down at the end.

Beautiful tone!

I love the way Alexandre Lagoya played this masterpiece.

I can not notice what you have pointed out. Will you tell us more concretely. I paly the same way as he did based on Watanabe's transcription.
The transcription is well known among Japanese guitarists as one of the standard transcrition of this piece from original lute music. Segovia transcribed this piece partially differently.

The best version of this piece without exaggerations or romantic interpretations. (very common in most adaptations for guitar more heard)
Im from mexico and in the fine muisic schools lude and vihuela are very apreciated, over transcripions for other instruments. Very nice.

Thank you for your comment in English. The characteristics of Watanabe's performance is his natural stance to music. As you said there are many ways to play this piece with their own adaptation or exaggeration. Watanabe's play flows very smooth and penetrate into our heart naturally.
