  • fuck. YES! More!

  • Saw them live in Madison, WI, june 10th 2011 - they were absolutely incredible. Can't get enough, that is why I went searching for them on You Tube. Thought because I had seen Huun-Huur Tu I might be disappointed - was I wrong. They are both a must see & a must purchase their CD's.

  • What an extraordinary performance! Some of the sounds remind me of the American band, Woven Hand. Amazing..

  • That was so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone have the translation ?

  • awesome song! was that the birds nest in the background?

  • This music and the voices hits me deep inside! Thanks for this high emotional experience!!

  • @ardakaraduman

A case of lost in transcription. His Mongolian name is probably Батбагана (= sth like Strong Pillar). Transcripted into western alphabet this would be sth like "Batbagan". However, he’s a PRC citizen and therefore his name is transcripted into Mandarin on official documents: 巴图巴根. There’s no character for "bat" so this part is split into two: 巴图 (pinyin: bātú). There's no character for the "gan" sound either; the closest is 根 (pinyin: gēn). Hence Batubagen.

  • wel tof hoe ze die ancient instrumenten hebben en van die ancient kleren plus een dikke superstrat en drumset:P

  • Saw them twice at WOMAD in New Plymouth, NZ, in March this year. They were a stand-out group and I still get chills thinking of their performance. Fantastic energy and music.

  • daar kan de Josti Band niet tegen op

  • Hanggai ! Come to Turkey ! Come to Japan !

btw, does anybody understand Mongolian ? Batubagan kind of means "one who looks to the west" in Turkish, I wonder if it's the meaning in Mongolian too ?

  • uuuuuufffffff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
