  • re doors opening on the GL. ALL cars in the series actually had opening doors... and unless it was on screen, the doors WERE used. as for replicas, the owners do not have Warner Brothers money, and cannot afford to repaint or fix scratches every other week... so, doors are used. plus the owner of this car is too short to get in through the window.

  • That Batboat has to be a copy as I heard the original was destroyed by a fire while in storage.

  • yes, it is a replica that a friend of mine built. I know the star car museum in Gatlinburg, tn had 1 in the past, no clue if real or replica on that one.

  • LOL recently in Missouri I saw Sheriff Littltes car from Chickasaw county going down the freeway.

  • I know of at least 4 or 5 Sheriff Little Replicas, not sure which one you seen, since 1 that I know.. was recently sold, but at least 2 or 3 are "down south", somewhere. The guy that organized THIS gathering, now has one he built, also. I debated building 1 with the car I am building now.... but goin with something more recognizable... CHP or LAPD replica. I have a Lee & a Hazzard PD car and building a Adam 12, and "another" Police car tbd.

  • where is Herbie??

  • No Herbie?

  • @lorakay1900 yea i know i just thought they had used the wrong year but the right everything exept rear bumper

  • @carbonfootprintmyass the show used the 74-76 model years. It was so popular, Ford actually released a "Starsky & Hutch" edition of the torino in 75 or 76. 1 of the employees at my elementary school had one, and I always looked forward as a kid, to seeing it, in the parkinglot. That was the 1st "Star Car", I ever seen.

  • @carbonfootprintmyass correct. This replica was a 72 or 73.

  • the torino has the wrong rear bumper so must be a different year

  • Sucks to be the guy draggin the batboat hahaha. The rest of them are driving badass muscle cars and he's pulling this big heavy boat and trailer on foot

  • Very cool but where are the Blues Brothers Dodge?

  • All look nice but seriously if you own a replica treat it as the real deal. DONT OPEN THE DOORS OF THE GENERAL LEE!
