Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez supported Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's statements when he called U.S. "parasite on the world economy!", he also talked about the introduction of the new Bolivarian Sucre as the Latin America currency. teleSUR

@NewVinland
LoL Putin and Chavez have NOTHING in common.. Russia has more of a free market economy.. People are a lot wealther in Russia than they are in Venezuela where the population depends on goverment hangouts.

I think the word "parasite" is an understatement. Their should be a much better and more appropriate word to describe USA, but I just can't think of any

Both of you miss the point. Chavez is not a globalist, therefore he is a nationalist. This fight of "right wing" versus "left wing" is doing nothing but harming people. We need something beyond Capitalism and Communism.

I have done nothing for Venezuela. It's not my responsibility.
Do you live in Venezuela? Or are you an armchair anti-capitalist, socialist, communist critic, wearing your Che t-shirt, sitting in your air-conditioned home in THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?
MAYBE YOU SHOULD MOVE BACK TO PORTUGAL AND TRY TO LIBERATE YOUR "COMRADES", YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITE.
Now run off and wank to your Olbermann and Chomsky vids, and FUCK Chavez.

@boskinator what have YOU done for the people of Venezuela? would you have nationalized the natural resources for the poor, despite constant US threats? would you work tirelessly to build a better country for the Venezuelan people, while simultaneously fighting foreign-backed insurgents, pressure from the US, and right-wing nationalists? no? then shut it, idiot.
