Ella suffered a stroke while still in utero, affecting the left side of her body. Her left arm and leg were very rigid. Ella did not talk, did not see well, and could not smile well because the elft side of her face could not move. After her parents placed her on the program of the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential, a non-profit organization founded by Glenn Doman, she saw incredible improvements. She has become less rigid, and learned to crawl and creep. She is now walking under a overhead ladder, and her vision has improved. Ella increased her oxygen intake and lung capacity, and is now speaking. She can now control her left hand, arm and leg. She has been taken off the anticonvulsant Phenobarbitol, which made her more alert. She loves to read and dance, and is very intelligent, and even knows Spanish. Now, she has a beautiful smile.
Like thousands of other children, Ella has been greatly helped by the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential.
