Good for Sid! I'm glad he proved them wrong. I'm also glad the announcer had the honour to apologize to Sid on air. Crosby is an honest player and the fact that so many of the leagues players respect him proves it. Don't hate him just because he isn't on YOUR team! BTW, i'm a Leafs fan but I can recognize a good player when I see one.

I agree that the whole thing was blown way out of proportion. It was just a penalty, who really cares?
But shouldn't an announcer rectify their mistake? I mean, so they don't mislead people to hate Sidney Crosby like you obviously do for no reason at all?
