The editor is a different independent program. It's in your Starcraft II map, in the program files map.

You obviously played the wrong sc games. Just because sc doesnt have a hero system premade doesnt mean in UMS games there are no heros. Hell, sc heros are even better then wc3 heros. They can level up, use intense spells, and even equip stronger items in some cases. I strongly suggest you google a starcraft map called SpellSword. Its a 1-3 player rpg, and it is godly.
