ATLANTA -- U.S. Senator and Senate candidate Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., released a new television ad this week, entitled "Conservative Beliefs," as part of his fall media campaign. The ad portrays Isakson discussing how he believes that a conservative agenda of lower spending, lower taxes, less regulation and empowerment of the private-sector is the key to economic recovery and prosperity, rather than the administration's big government agenda. The ad will air in media markets across the state, including Albany, Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Macon and Savannah.
"Our country cannot afford to continue down the path of the job-killing Obama-Reid-Pelosi agenda," said Isakson. "I learned a lot by running a business for 22 years, and I understand the struggles Georgia's families and small businesses are faced with—that's why jobs growth is the number one issue for me. I have been fighting for lower taxes, fair regulation, and an empowerment of opportunity for jobs in the private sector so that America remains a country full of opportunity for our children and grandchildren."
Isakson's fifth television ad's script is below.

JOHNNY ISAKSON:
"America is at a crossroads. There are two philosophies that have collided.
"The current administration thinks government is the answer. I believe the private sector can do it better. Let people make the decision where to spend their money, not the government. This administration has brought nothing but uncertainty to a country that has always been certain about its future. It's time we returned to those principles that make us right: less spending, fair taxation, lower regulation, more empowerment.
"I'm Johnny Isakson and I approve this message."
Isakson has built his campaign infrastructure and grassroots support by organizing in all 159 Georgia counties. It is the same strategy he used in 2004 when he won the election to the U.S. Senate with more votes than any candidate had ever received up to that point in the state of Georgia.
