This is a Ford Cervini Eleanor Bullitt Mustang 2008. It is a true Bullitt (4243/7000). The car was purchased at Ford Major World in Queens, NY. The Cervini Eleanor C-300 build was done by Cervini themselves in Vineland, NJ. The head unit is a Kenwood DNX8120 and was installed by NJ Boom Boom II in Palisades Park, NJ. The interior was upgraded with chrome parts from Laurel Mountain Mustang of Ruffsdale, PA.
For those that don't know, the Bullitt is a limited edition run of the Mustang produced by Ford in 2001 and 2008. It is made to emulate the green highlander Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in the movie Bullitt, considered by many car aficionados to contain "the best car chase scene in movie history." The Eleanor C-Series is a build of the Mustang exclusively manufactured from Cervini inspired by the movie Gone in 60 Seconds, which had the legendary pepper grey Eleanor Mustang driven by Nicholas Cage, considered by many Mustang and muscle car fans as one of the best cars produced for a movie (its exclusive trademark being the dual side exhausts).
As far as I know, this is the only Bullitt car in 2008 modified with the Cervini Eleanor C-Series as practically everyone who purchases this car keeps it stock since it is considered a collector car. I guess it is unfortunate that I am not a collector. :)
This video does not do this car justice. Not only does the car look AMAZING, it sounds AMAZING. It is a blast to drive. Because of the Bullitt/Cervini badges, most people can't tell what type of car it is, they're shocked when they find out it is a Mustang. I think people are even more shocked when they see a 25 year-old "needs a haircut" Filipino kid with a TMNT shirt walking out of it. I occassionally get the "is that your Dad's car" question. I always respond with a big smile on my face, "Nope, that's all mine." It's usually followed with a "WTF-face" and the question of, "Whoa, what do you do for a living?" I love it.
It constantly gets stares and random cell phone pics everywhere I go. Even amongst Mustang GT owners, it is a perplexing machine. It has a deceptive idle time as it is not as heavy as a GT, but once it is revved... it STARTS GOING!
BEASTLY, that's the best word I can think of to describe this car. Hope you guys enjoy the video.
P.S.
Yes, I know, in the first part of the video, the car obviously needs a car wash. It sat outside from the night before since I was in South Jersey, otherwise it is garaged always in North Jersey and only driven on weekends. I also apologize for my jittery camera.
