Facts of the Dave Smith Instruments Mono Evolver Keyboard: * monstrous four oscillator voice architecture: two analog and two digital * true stereo signal path with separate Curtis analog low-pass filters in each channel * dedicated onboard effects (feedback, delay, distortion, high-pass filter, etc.) * highly accessible sound control for easy, intuitive operation: 58 knobs and 33 switches * 16 x 4 step sequencer really brings the Evolver to life with evolving "pseudo-polyphonic" sounds - you won't believe it's mono! * stereo audio input for audio processing of external stereo or mono signals, enabling the synth to act as a unique stereo effects processor * everything (sequencer, LFOs, and delay) syncs perfectly to MIDI * Easy-to-navigate matrix-style interface for quick editing and real-time control of 8 parameters simultaneously * multiple Evolvers can be daisy-chained for increased polyphony

  • @WolfgangAmadeusF haha :)

  • Im a vst and controller guy but would love just one hardware synth like this to play with and spice things up. Better get saving lol

  • @avinash240 yes exactly for a few hundred more ill buy the classic prophet 08- if i spend more than 500 im also paying for style and looks as well- sound is most important - my point is they look hideous to me- if you dont mind then different strokes for different folks- people at doepfer and moog still make classic beautiful gear

  • @salvadory The color of the synth is what's stopping you from buying it and not the sound? I'm not sure what to say.

  • I already got the MoPho keyboard (which I love), and I wonder if I'd get anything new out of the Evolver. Not sure if I could ever justify the purchase since I have my analog synth now and the Novation Ultranova for pads/movements. I also have tons of VSTs for atmospherics.

  • @Cokoholicar everything to me and many others- - just like wood and metal instead of plastic!!!

  • @salvadory

wtf does color have to do with anything

  • @WolfgangAmadeusF

I cant understand anyone from England, Americans fine.... weird....

  • dear god why blue?- dave smiths stuff is great but his color schemes are ridiculous- the yellow themed mophos are a disgrace - fire your graphics guy---stick with the classic looks dave and then ill buy one of your awesome synths

  • @MarctheDarc yes - you are right..

the evolved keyboards are the best--

but most people just want pure analog--

    foolish
