Can't go wrong with an etek, even if its your only gun. They are proven, a very reliable, fast, accurate, efficient, and a very good quality gun. In game using semi they shoot just as fast as a normal ego, but they have a lower theoretical ROF, and less bells and whistles.

They are easy to work on, but as I mentioned, the reliability/low maintenance combined with the speed is what makes the gun.

A local field (skirmish) rents them as an upgrade rental.
