We were all very pleased when the idea was presented to us, in fact shooting began in 2001 but due to budget cuts from NBC Universal the film didn't make it past the pilot stage" - Austin Tesmer

JOSHUA DUNCAN:
" Shortly afterword, we sort of just put the idea at bay, of making a film of such intense and dramatic caliber. So for a few years we just sorta went on to directing other films, I went on to directing Inception and The Dark Knight, and Tesmer well, did Avatar. Mills was also very busy, playing leading roles in movies such as The Watchmen,How to lose a Guy in 10 days,Step Brothers, and then recently, IRON MAN 2. "

STEVEN MILLS:
" I was approached by Josh and Tesmer again about this film actually a month ago, and uh, let's just say I was reluctant, very... I told Tesmer and Josh both that it would be very difficult to get this film done in the amount of time that it had to be done....I kept telling Austin in particular that.. the film would be master piece no matter what, but if we didn't get the project done soon...it would end up like it did before..With the Studios pulling the plug on it due to it not making money."

JOSHUA DUNCAN
" We started it and We nailed it! it was done in half the time that studios wanted it in. It....was a real hell too, you know, just getting all the shots in just right. Lighting was real killer for us. So we had to go in and re-edit all the shots and make different frames to add CG hugs and stuff to make it look real.. It took a lot just to get it right."

AUSTIN TESMER:
"Finally the night had came, and we were at the premier for the film. We were glad it was over, I mean the movie consumed us in a way."

The film opened on Aug 4th, 2010 earning a total of 250.00 $ enough to pay of Joshua Duncan's ticket and prevent him from going to jail. Aside from that it pulled in a World Wide total of 900.00 dollars. The film was widely regarded as a modern classic, and Austin Tesmer is now considered amongst the reigns of Alfred Hitchcock.
