In my opinion Maynard James Keenan is a great role model, he does what he loves and doesn't care about the money, he only cares about the music. That's why Tool has so many fans who have been fans since they first heard them, not like these bullshit "musicians" on the radio. I wish people could just look up good music instead of just listening to whatever the radio plays like mindless slaves.
