  • anyone who wants the show notes, i went to the trouble of writing them out for you DONT add in the quotations: Quick Looks special X-Ray mode : "defaults write com.apple.finder QLEnableXRayFolders 1" one window Dictionary : "defaults write com.apple.Dictionary ProhibitNewWindowForRequest -bool TRUE" hope it helps u guys out.

  • @butterdog33 "defaults write" changes what's called a "boolean" from true to false or vice/versa, or in this case it's expressed as either 1 or 0. Simply write "defaults write com.apple.finder QLEnableXRayFolders 0" without the quotes (as opposed to with the 1 at the end) to reset Finder's quick look behaviour.

  • now i wonder if that X-Ray folders will be default in further updates and that apple is field testing in in snow leopard now. hmm...

  • how do you undo a terminal entry?

  • how do you undo a terminal entry. for example, if i entered the code to have x-ray folders and no longer want that, how do i remove it?

  • in leoprad you can have the harddrive icon on the desktop but in snow leopard you can´t why?
