  • This may not be true for everyone with fibromyalgia but it WAS true for me. I suffered for years and had "normal" thyroid lab results, but when a doctor finally Rx'ed T3 for me all my pain, depression and exhaustion went away. I spent 5 months pain-free and was SO happy, but then I had a thyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer and the fibromyalgia symptoms came back, even tho I take desiccated thyroid. • This doctor is 100 percent dead on word for word , except what do you do when your Free T 4's and Free T 3's are in check but your Hashimoto Anti-bodies are off the charts ? I wonder how many suicides are from Fibro ? We will never know because they're wrote off as Mental Health . We are not hurting because we're depressed , we are depressed because we ARE hurting.

  • Thank you dr. Hotze.I have CFS since 32 y.Indeed I'm called a hypochonder and a lazy perosn who doesn't want to work. Indeed the first 10 years I got so lot of medecines that I had more or less 150 information papers included at the medecines who made me worser.I spoke you at Facebook, I'm gone there. The social worker did a demand to the advising dr. of my health assurance to pay back a part of the treatment.I hope for a positive answer to start treatment soon(Belgium).Have a nice day dr.Hotze
