I Vanish

This is a very, very rough version of an illusion that I am working on. It's still very sketchy.

Description: I vanish and at the end make a silk appear. Please no exposure. I think that the vanish is an original by myself, but I'm not sure. Enjoy.

Here's the thing, it depends on how you define an original method. I recognize your method and it's based on an age old principal. I think you're doing a really good job with it, and I'd love to see a final product that's a little faster and uses a routine that brings a purpose to the chair. The most skillful illusion is impossible to appreciate without an artistic development. Good job.

Thanks a lot man. But it just so happens that I dropped the gimmick! Soo, I have to find a new one that is just right. I figure I'll have a card routine that involves sitting in the chair ( a sheet draped over the chair ) then stand up, casually walk behind it and throw the sheet up and bam im gone.

he had a mirror under the chair. for the 2nd one, he had a flesh colored plastic thumb that held the silk..i have the same thing

instead of stripes, why don't you try a fuzzy-er pattern such as tiny dots. and please concern about lighting and shadow too. good luck :)

that 1 might be real but there alot of camera cuts vanishes on youtube like tllusion and his snow teleportation u can see where u digitally composed it because the foot prints change shape in the snow with no one walkin on them lol busted..
