Over the course of the Summer I recorded a bunch of songs, a few of which I put on this album, others were made specifically for it.

@nfarnham2008 Acid Music Studio is pretty easy to get used to, but Pro Tools is probably a better program. I don't remember exactly what tutorials I watched for FL Studio, I just did a YouTube search for FL tutorials.

@residentemojacob Okay, I have FL studio, as well as Pro Tools SE, and an M-Audio Session Mic. Is sony acid pretty easy to get used to? I'm also still trying to learn FL, any tutorials you recommend? Sorry for all the questions, it just seems I have all the ideas but no way to apply them.

@nfarnham2008 Yes, BandCamp will take a cut of what you make selling songs, but they're free to post on.

And as far as software I record all my music onto Sony Acid Music Studio 6.0 with a SnowBall USB microphone. I write all drum parts in FL Studio.

@nfarnham2008 The best advice I can give for marketing is post your music everywhere. YouTube, facebook, bandcamp, soundcloud, twitter links, video responses, even myspace. just put it everywhere and try to network with some underground bands you think are cool.

@residentemojacob Ah, sounds great. I've been playing for almost a month now, but I'm trying to learn FL studio as well. Any advice for marketing or getting your music out there? It is something I just wanna do on the side.

@nfarnham2008 Yep, I've been playing guitar for about 7 years now, and I just recorded everything with a usb mic on my laptop.
