One of the best scenic hikes in Orange County CA . This (personal) video shot in August 2011 shows a small view of the winding river and various falls along this easy and beautiful hike. We arrived at 9am to the 3 mile round trip trail head and stayed 3.5 hours. There were many great picture opportunities all along the hike. At the Holy Jim falls people braved the ice cold water under the falls. Bring drinking water, water shoes, and a towel so you can cool off under the falls. The trail is nicely shaded, but expect high temps in the afternoon.
