This is like one of those really bad lip sync videos you see on T.V where there lips move then 5 seconds later you hear them.

you do know that the 360 is incapable of true 7.1... the hardware is only capable of outputting 5.1. and the last 2 channels to make it 7.1 are emulated with the turtle beach hardware.

These may be 7.1, but NO current game consoles support more than 5.1. I too believe that the Astros are overrated, I just wanted to point that out. I'm getting these today :).

Has anyone experienced hiss when you turn the X41's on? No chat/boom connected. It's a very low level hiss, like a car tyre going down.

Yes, you can. You can either plug the ipod into the transmitter. Or, you can get an adapter from the standard iPod jack to the one on the headset.
