This video marks the very first time I've been on the floor as an "Advanced" line dancer in UCWDC. To say I was a little nervous would be an understatement! This is the "Rise & Fall" dance for the Advanced Division in UCWDC for competition year 2010, to be used at the World Championships in Jan 2011. This was the first time I put it on the floor at the New Orleans Dance Mardi Gras. I was pleased with the performance; I got through the dance with only a couple wobbles. And by Worlds it will be better! :-) The dance is "Anita's Waltz" choreographed by Anita Zwiers & Michel Platje. There is one variation between this performance and the step sheet. I replaced the "heel turns" with a toe turn.
