We are all indebted to those who inspired us. Paul Simon is indebted to Jimmy Cliff, the Everly Brothers, and the great blues artists of the past. All of the rest of us are indebted to Paul Simon.

Also saw him at the Pantages which was within a week or so of this show I believe. I would agree with @Dunford00 that it was probably one of the best shows I've ever seen by far. Every song, every note, everything was perfect, and his version of this was one of the best moments of the show.

He's still got the sweet voice... after all these years.

Saw him in Berkeley last month and it was an amazing show. This would have been a treat, but I can't complain. We did get to hear a beautiful solo version of Sounds of Silence and Here comes the sun. Along with a lot of his other great songs.

@lladsbid It was getting tired a year or two back, I remember seeing a bunch of live performances on youtube and he just sounded so tired and I was thinking "ah crap, he's getting ready to make his exit" Then he came out with So beautiful So what and he sounded better on that and I was very happy. Then I saw him live in Berkeley about a month ago, and his voice started off a little tired, but by the end of the show it's like he regained his youth and sounded amazing. Best show of my life.
