I actually just made this split two weeks ago. Ball was a little light in the pocket, left the 5-7. Basically, I stayed on the same board and lofted it a little to get what would be an even lighter hit and it worked perfectly......that was a day after I made a 6-7 split to boot. Now of course I'm always disappointed when I don't make them, but that should wear off soon XD

@SlatebowlAllStars Crazy terrible carry on high flush hits made me realize I needed a stronger ball, my old entry level tropical storm couldn't cut it when I could easily just leave an 8-10 or some other variation of back pins on perfect high flush hits. I bowled one of my best games so far, but ended up with about 100 or so because of carry like that. I couldn't make my spares because of the awful and weird leaves....

Yeah, I did much the same thing last night. Had strikes in the 8th and 9th...threw what I thought was a "perfect" pocket and ended up with a 7-10. Boy does that take the wind out of your sails! 8^)
