@m1991colt well, for the record, schlage primus can't be bumped, or picked, there is one video on youtube of them bumping it, they removed the side bar in the cylinder, therfore making it a normal schlage cylinder. there is a set of top pins(6) and set of side pins (finger pins) (6) medeco is in the same category as far as restriction goes, Primus is locksmith only, if he issues you a primus system you can only have keys made by him, no where else carries his exact side mill.

That lock is junk, no need to even use a master key, all you need for that cheap lock is a "bump key" to unlock it. Never buy the juck lock sets that they sell at some retail stores.

@BMXer053pc I'm not saying these guys aren't scum bags and criminals. I'm saying the video is making it seem like their home was "safe" until the key was duplicated. Just look up videos on bumping locks...with a little practice you can get in as quickly as a key with no evidence. I never said Schlage was shitty...they are average quality and will withstand forced entry (the door won't) but they are poor at withstanding picking, drilling, and bumping. Try medeco, multlock, yale, or abloy.

If they master it, they can walk up and turn the key to get in, versus making a shit load of noise with a drill or suspicious picks. who cares if he has a master key...it's a schlage lock... they are so easy to pick, drill, bump or just kick the door in. Did that old lady really think she was "safe" before the keys were duplicated? lol get your head out of the sand lady. unless your house is build like a fortress a lock is just a suggestion to criminals
