  • I love this miniseries. :)

  • ammmmmmmmm ayyyyy, jasonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn priestley I love you

  • cool he's so talented

  • Even then, you don't get the full effect of the setting, because the film quality is so poor. I don't know if they were trying to make it look like it was FILMED in 1982 or if the CBC only had left over HI8 cameras....

The pacing is attrocious...meandering all over with no strong narrative. I must confess to falling asleep at a couple points. Still, if you like moutaineering, it may be worth it! I doubt anyone who isn't could enjoy this.

  • Oh boy, was it awful!

Funny because on the cover, Jason Priestly and William Shatner are, of course, highlighted, but Priestly dies in the opening scene and Shatner does a little, tacked on, role asking a couple questions in cut scenes! Shatner must have been on vacation back in Canada for a week!

On the plus side, every character acted like huge jerks, so it makes you think maybe it is realistic. All of them are extremely flawed. And of course, there was some decent alpine scenery!

  • John Amatt is my uncle :)

  • its a miniseries...

  • it looks ínteresting for a dvd-movie!!
