In this episode, we return to Alternate History to see if saving the merchant helped out and allows us to enter the Alma Mine.

Thanks for watching!

  • Hey HCBailly, I know you've been buying everything on screen, but I've messed up the purchases almost every single time. If you could also put that in the video description again that would be great :)

  • @nels00 I have in my text walkthrough on GameFAQs.

  • @HCBailly Would the Custom Lance even be worth purchasing at all? I ask because it seems more efficient to just skip it seeing as how Rosch is already very close to Stocke's Attack Power even at this low level. Also, the massive upgrade you can get from a certain event happening VERY soon.

  • @MisterCrim It's not critical. I figured that I had the money, so why not? After this point, money won't be a problem.

Experience scaled with your level in D&D 3rd edition (and 4th?).

Change seems pretty abusive when you always get enough turns to wipe out foes before they can act.

Aren't we just making it easier for Granorg to get through the mine by removing all the rocks? Heh.

  • HAHA HCBAILEY IS AWESOME

  • Army of Darkness reference 3:02?

  • Lost Odyssey scaled experience too... we the viewers really need to find a way to donate a 360 to HC.

  • 15:21 look at Rosch's expression haha

  • Watching this late, I was gonna say Pokemon Black/White but it was already mentioned.

  • @HazreihelUchiha I still find it annoying that these pokemon with only a single evolve form needs to be level 50 to evolve. That's ridiculous.

Only pokemon with two evolve forms should take that high of a level to evolve.

Vulaby evolves at level 54? I almost shat myself when I first saw that. That's way too high for something that should evolve at level 32. Not only that, but a whole list of pokemon evolve at extreme levels.

The higher evolving levels definitely obsoletes the level scaling.

  • @CastlePokemetroid well that's not all that bad, as once you have access to the dark grass outside the north east town you can get a pokemon from 1-40 in about 5 minutes.

  • @HazreihelUchiha It makes life soooo much easier, I'll tell you this much.

However, Gamefreak compensated for that by increasing the levels you need to evolve the newer pokemon.

Instead of the majority of the pokemon getting their final forms in the 30 range, it's now around in the 50 range, which is really annoying, since it already obsoletes the exp scaling.

The only real difference the scaling makes is that the older pokemon are easier to level.

  • @ZergofImportance That sword ain't crap. When I first got it, I had absolutely no use for it.

Besides, the Aistel sword is standard stuff for Aisetl soldiers.
