Taking care of elderly parents and a screwed up work schedule. I will be back in el salvador in august for 4 days. As I mentioned before the people are great and the towns and outskierts have all sorts of cool geo / eco sights. Also, el salvadorean food rocks.

@tonypittsburgh9 I totally agree with you! The only people that are afraid of going to El Salvador, and say negative things about El Salvador.....is Salvadorinos outside of El Salvador! Or should I say ingnorent Salvadorenos!!! I purchased a beautiful beachfront property there. Next time you or your friends go to El Salvador, why not rent my place. Been there twice. First time was in 2010 after someone told me when I was visiting costa rica to definitely not go to el salvador. I had to and I found out that guy was wrong. El Salvador is an awesome contry, the people are warm and friendly, san salvador is quite impressive of a city and the rural areas have some of the coolest things you will find anywhere. I went to these hot springs, but the coolness was hiking the area they were in. Miniature volcanoes, mud volcanoes, boiling ponds etc.
