The impersonator said she had not heard about Jackie. I later realized that it WAS Jackie that I was speaking to. I have never understood why he would deny his identity.
I attended Tracy’s funeral. Her family had been left mostly in the dark concerning her performing. They were sorry they had been left out and were very supportive in all they said to me. They were very proud of all the charity work and quality-performing Tracy had done.

Tracy was in my high school graduating class. With her Elizabeth Taylor looks, which were certainly not evident in high school, she was a first class talent and a good person. Although we knew each other in high school, we were not really friends. He was not open to that for some reason. On my first visit to a drag bar in Indianapolis, a female impersonator asked if I was Gregory McDaniel from Martinsville. I said I was and then asked about Jackie, who I had heard was performing in drag.
