This is the third time I read it and i just can't get enough of it! if only there were more stories like the CoH!

I really hope in years to come Tolkien's books will be taught in the English Literature courses in uni. along with Shakespeare and Dickens...

@vashtiverous78 exactly i dont know why students have to learn about only a few great writers. This is basically making people think that there are only a few truly great writers in history when there is actually hundreds.

@Toro953 I found his writing style good enough to be acknowledged actually, but I do agree, he didn't really add much to his version. Elves, dwarves, and humans get annoying to see all the time, especially with the same Lotr attributes. Damn WoW. And comparing Paolini to Bieber? That is more than a little harsh and inaccurate. Paolini's got talent. I just found it could be a bit more original.

@JimTheJames You know who else is famous? The person who wrote Clifford the Big Red Dog, and justin bieber. Just because something is well known doesnt mean it is valuable. In today's dumbed down moronic society, I'm not surprised people are saying Paolini can touch Tolkien.

He took his entire story from StarWars and LOTR, he didn't add anything new to fantasy, and his writing style is unimpressive. His story is popular because its "LOTR" that is easy to read for younger kids.

@Toro953 Well the fact that you can say whether or not it's bad is something by itself, because you've obviously read it, which means he's got a reputation. That's enough to give him some fame. And I doubt there are many people who can honestly admit that when they watched it they didn't feel like a movie was playing out. Who would you say is better than Paolini?
