My attempt at making a BristleBot, which was very fun to make! However there is a lack of smooth surfaces in my house ;(

Since you're all askin:
I got the pager at a junk(but very cool junk) electronics warehouse called Weird Stuff (they don't sell the pagers on the web site though cause they are beat up and old). I recommend you try ebay for cheap pagers.

one from a mobile should be fine, but the one from a ps2 controller will probably be too big

my motor had little tabs sticking out that the battery fit between, but then they broke and I had to solder wire on.
