This excerpt is from a Concert of Original Music by Louis Stewart which was entitled Joycenotes.It was based on Louis's interpretation of some pieces from Ulysses by James Joyce
It was performed at the Cork Jazz Festival in 1982

  • Len McCarthy's solo here is an Irish classic! A great moment! And the composition sounds like it could have been written by Benny Carter or Billy Strayhorn...

  • Very true Colm. I think the Audience that night were treated to something special. I think that the reaction from Bobby Rosengarden really says it all
