This was a request from Daisydukie. I have made this three times now and it is always a treat with the low carb crowd. Super easy and only five net carbs per serving!

  • This is an excellant video. So glad I can make a crust with ground flax ! Not only is it nice to have a crust..but it's also a great way to get the extra fiber in. Thanks! You and your hubby are a cute couple !Have a nice Thanksgiving.Amy

  • Thanks for the compliment! I am so pleased with this recipe as well! Hubby loves it! :-)

  • I'm sorry I must be dumb! but what is flax meal? and where do I get it? the pie looks yummy!

  • Flax meal is just ground up flax seeds. I got mine in the baking aisle at my local safeway. It's usually pretty common in supermarkets now. :-)

  • Thanks for this recipe! I tried it today and it turned out fantastic.

  • Rats! I can't do this one cuz I'm allergic to flax... Maybe I will just make the filling and skip the crust. :)

  • This looks really good! Can't wait to try to make it. :)

  • Hey i made this pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving but I used Murrays sugar free shortbread cookies crushed in my food processor for the crust and it was a huge hit, all my non low carbing family loved it!!! The crust almost resembled the "high carb" crust it was delicious!

  • The Whipped Topping my hubby used was just regular whipped cream. We don't use it much but we count the carbs.

As far as our dog Pappy...as you can see at the end of the video, he doesn't need to count his carbs. :-)

  • R u referring to my items, the Redi Whip? if so it actually is not, its less than one gram a TBS, I probably use maybe 2 TBS once a week if that, some would never use it but it doesnt stall me or give me cravings :o) its kinda a YMMV thing
