After spending 6 months of last year holed up writing in his London studio, Charlie joined forces with acclaimed producer Danton Supple (Coldplay, Doves) to begin recording his debut solo album. The result is an accomplished 12 track record that oozes with vintage warmth and whose luscious melodies and occasional imperfections lend it a vibrant character and earnest charm. Lead single 'Down Down Down' was rapturously received by Charlie's fans including Fearne Cotton who made it Record Of The Week on Radio 1.

His debut solo album 'Young Pilgrim' is released on August 15th in partnership with Nusic Sounds and distributed by PIAS. It is available to pre-order now in standard, limited and deluxe formats (physical & digital). He'll be supporting the release with headline tour dates and festival appearances across the UK this summer.
