This time I'm composing for a live-action sequence here; a scene from the series Band of Brothers.
It is apparent to me that this scene was released with no music whatsoever, and a musical soundtrack wasn't intended to be used for this scene, but for two reasons, I decided to score it anyway: 1) The fact that it wasn't necessarily intended for music presents a substantial and interesting challenge. 2) It's not easy to find scenes here on youtube that don't have any music to them, but are suitable for scoring practice.

I definitely have to agree with you there. I had originally wanted to add some percussion, as well as variation to the piece, but as this was just practice, I left it at that and moved on.

i like the build up but the crescendo was a bit lacking, also the instrumetation became a bit tiresome along with lack of variation, nice idea though.
