@Animefan170 same thing happened with me. Make sure to install the software that comes with your camera on the disk. This is if you don't have a card reader thing. After it is installed you will have a list of programs installed. One of these programs allows you to select the videos u want and upload them into your computer. If you have a mac do not use iphoto to open the videos. I would suggest only using the canon software.

Hey good job on the video.. i hear this lens has lot of potential.. have a suggestion if you are willing to try . The girl in this video is "with respect" gorgeous .. she could be a nice subject to capture.. perhaps in black and white ..

@Animefan170 Make sure there's no other program running; otherwise, your videos will be choppy.
-
@jazzybam No it's definitely the footage, I have quite a decent graphics card and this video was choppy near the end. Might just be my computer but check it for yourself.

check my viedo out test video with the same lens

aaah i have a slight problem with my video quality... like when i play it back on the computer its all choppy and stuff

@Animefan170 Its more than likely your computer struggling to play back the footage, not the camera.

If I were to use this lens for video and use like lets say f5.6 becuase I want everything in focus, could I do that without giving up any sharpness or great features? I want to be able to focus everything in the scene, and at times have it at f1.8 for depth of field. If i cant do that with this lens what lens do you recomend I use?

@ishowyouapple You will be fine with either the kit 18-55mm or the 50mm 1.8 at f5.6 as long as your scene is well lit
