@drillsgtvee I was just saying, not many people my age (22) or younger know the band, further more almost every person older than me who can remember the 80"s didn't recognize the name of the band or any songs except "your love." I'm sure you know more, I have only knowledge from what I have looked up and listened to myself.

I will add that in late 1985, and moreso in early to mid-1986, Mainstream Radio was playing the hell out of 'Say It Isn't So', as well as 'Your Love'.

I was there: In the Spring of 1986, me and my HS buddy were riding around in his Triumph TR7 blaring this song, and the entire GD 'Play Deep' album!

Your statement is grossly erroneous.

While the Outfield debut single song (Your Love) was their best charting single on the American Top 40 (AT40) (peaking at # 6 in early Summer 1986), the Outfield was NOT a 'One-Hit Wonder' band.

In fact, from 1986 thru 1990, a total of five Outfield singles charted on the AT40, & more still making the Hot 100 list.

This song 'Say It Isn't So', is one of their signature songs (from debut album, 'Play Deep'), that made the Hot 100, but not the AT40.

@milosrale I think "Your Love" was their one hit wonder because no one I know knows this band. Kind of like The Knack and "My Sharona."
