This was a great ride I took in 2000 on a B-25 Mitchell at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, Texas. This pilot really shows why the 25 was a FIGHTER bomber...check out the high breaking turns. The best part of the video is when we come in low over the field, banking left to reveal the SBD and Avenger just off our port wing...we all pull up high and left, and break off individually. It was a great thrill.

  • How I envy you... One, for getting to ride in a B-25. Two, you obviously are from the Lubbock area. If I might make a suggestion, could you do a fly over of Reese AFB (I know it is closed now)- base and former housing area. Would love to see it.

  • Good call. I'll try that soon and post it.

  • thanks! this reminds me of the ride-along I had on the B-25 Heavenly Body some 20 plus years ago when the cost was only $50. Same price to fill up my car today.

  • Thanks. It would mean the world to me.

  • This is amazing!!!! Where was this filmed, at some airshow? I would pay big money for a ride on a B-25 or any WWII era prop plane.

  • Wow, did that ever look like fun!
