@mw4205 Media Matters constantly calls Fox out on their bullshit. Fox never responds because you can't argue with the truth. You are a brainwashed dumbass and you probably always will be one.
-
Haha you liberals are funny, I enjoy reading your ignorant comments. I feel so validated when I see how wrong you are!!

Stossel is 50% true and 50% bullshit while O'Reilly and Glenn Beck are 100% bullshit

@rufuguru The guns individuals point. The 'government' does not exist. Individuals that act in the name of this fantasy do exist. Statists are no different than someone that acts in the 'name of god'.
-
@kamikazee55 What guns you lunatic? If you say the government's guns I'll just have to point out your incessant belief that it doesn't exist. You can't advocate one thing and flip flop on the issue. You're as bad as Mitt Romney.
-
@rufuguru 1. How can I be obligated to what people decided before I existed? If slavery is a choice, then I choose not to be a slave.
2. How do we know that the majority actually decided this? If you look at how governments are established today, it's not like everyone gets together and has a vote. They just claim authority.
I've made a claim without evidence. There is no majority. There are only individuals. There is no forest, there are only individual trees.
Solution: Drop the guns.

@kamikazee55 these decisions were made before our time. If you could convince a majority of the people that taxation was wrong, for example, you could amend the constitution to take that power away. If you're so convinced that things you use in your very arguments don't exist, be my guest and prove so. You've made a claim without evidence. I have a question, why are you such a mamy ass whiner, it's frankly sad that you sit and complain all day without offering a solution to anything
-
@rufuguru Consented to those powers? How so?
1. That's b.s. just so you know. Congress has a 9% approval rating..
2. How does the 'majority'(which does not exist) have any power? If 3 people are on an island, two guys one girl and the guys vote to rape her does that make it right? Explain how the 'majority' has any authority.
3. Even if we do accept your premise, how do we know that the majority has consented to these powers? There is no 'i do not consent to this' option on the voting ballot.
-
@kamikazee55 The government has the right to tax, make war, make laws, defend the country, and create boarders (just to list a few things) because the a majority of the citizens of the country have consented to those powers.
-
@kamikazee55 That is a good question that has been open to debate. I feel that question can best be answered through the Social Contract Theory, you can google it for a full definition, but basically it advocates the government's existence and authority by mutual consent of the people. Because the majority of the population has mutually consented for the necessity of a governing body, it has the authority as given to it by the people to be a necessary body of authority.
"Taxing the rich is different than taking your stuff by force"
??? Excuse me? Taxation is force. Try not paying your taxes, see what happens. Taxation is theft.

Fox News is analogous to the Republican Party. There is neocon side (Bill O'Reilly; Mitt Romney, Rick Perry) and a libertarian side (John Stossel, Andrew Napolitano; Ron Paul, Gary Johnson). The libertarian side shares the grievances of OWS - they are against bailouts, they are against special privileges for corporations, and they are opposed to the government policies that cause unemployment.
