#3 NMSU at #1 UMD NCAA DII Football Playoffs (12/11/10)

#1 Minnesota Duluth (14-0), the only remaining unbeaten NCAA II clubs in the country , knocked off #3 Northwest Missouri State (12-2) 17-13 in NCAA DII Football semifinal. The Bulldogs, without four starters, used a consistant run game and a turnover free game to come back to defeat the defending National Champions, who turned the ball over three times in the game. The Bulldogs will take on Delta State (12-3) next Saturday, December 18th in Florence, Ala. in the NCAA DII Championship game.
