Well technically I play bass and bass is lot harder to develope speed than guitar. Also one error in no distortion will blow u up like hell. Playing bass aint easy andit gets quite painfull the first weeks -_- xD If u say its easy look at more elavorated bass lines like Rush's Geddy Lee or more melodic like Victor Wooten or Jaco P or even some slap pop like Marcus miller, play that then u can say bass is easy ;) PEACE

These 2 are my favourit soloists, they play so fast it's fucking mechanical, it makes my head explode trying to think how someone can play bass that well.

@artcellrox The bass and the strings factor in just as much as they would for a guitarist. Old/crappy strings will not sound as bright as new ones, instead they'll seem a bit dead, or lackluster. They also have (greater) chances of breaking. As far as the bass, some basses sound better than others, but it's really up to the player.

@theshadowofking no, es más, nisiquiera escucho metal :P

rock clásico mas que nada, y la única técnica del bajo que no hay en guitarra es el slap, y ni siquiera es del todo cierto porque en guitarra acústica si se puede hacer.

el tipo del video no suena bien todas las notas que toca suenan igual

tu no sabes apreciarla dices que "los solos son horribles, que suenan parecido" lamentable, y que mas ensima el bajo no se escucha, eres un tarado me averguenso q gente como tu escuche esta musica tan buena y el bajo tiene mas tecnica tu solo opinas del agudo se nota q escuchas solo dragonforce(estudioforce) bass win!
