I find it strange that he can so easily touch people on the head and they don't try and stop him or look surprised. Human brain is amazing.

For the 2nd guy, when you lock your legs like that it cuts off the circulation to your brain, and you begin to feel light headed (some people run into this problem in marching band, thats why anyone in a competetive marching band knows to never lock your legs) combined with the idea that hes going to fall back, all he had to do was watch when the man would fall back to catch him. Very nice trick :D

if i was his subject i would fuckin want him to change me back to not giving a fuck

This experiment is a fake or either people are f. gullible.
Either options are feightening.

Their very lack of a belief system is what makes these people so suggestible in the first place. Derren is simply using his NLP skills to fill their subconscious need for spiritual fulfillment. You see, the very act of non-belief or denial is an affirmation the persons need to find some type of meaning in life.

I'd love to believe that he's really demonstrated the easy manipulation of religion on people, but I also have to wonder if the people were "plants" for this program.
-
@yeshevishman It is derren's point. We are telling the same thing here.

@douma4000 That's not Darren's point. His point is in the minister's view, and in beliefs. That's just part of the trick. (Also part of the trick is going with the flow. Once people see it, they go with it.)
