Government officials including ministers have few hours to enjoy their fuel guzzlers if Wednesday deadline set by the finance minister is effected. Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has directed all permanent secretaries to impound the fuel guzzlers used by ministers in exchange for passats by Wednesday evening. • Those cars are still too expensive. could they have gotten a better deal. 3.4M. those cars are half that price in the USA. the intention is comendable though. its a bout time those Ministers had no say in wht they drive.

  • that jungu has already been alerted on wat to say otherwise he may feel it.

  • Why do they even get free cars. Don't they make enough in kickbacks and bribes. These hyenas never stop feeding on the people. Throw them out!!

  • uhuru is making lots of money in Kickbacks all for 2012 elections

  • the guys should be using Nissan matatus, even with passats they won't stop embezlling public funds.Nothing significant has changed.

  • vercedes wens

  • 3.4m is after duty, which doesn't make sense because government doesn't pay taxes. Or maybe Jane is not quoting any govt. tenders.
